Lifting Equipment Manufacturers Recognized for Innovation Judged by industry professionals, 10 products claim 2009 LLEAP Awards FORT DODGE, IOWA, October 16, 2009 – The Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Access Platforms (LLEAP) Awards, presented by Lift and Access magazine, pay homage to innovative products introduced between April 1, 2008, and March 31, 2009. Judged by a group of eight experts in the crane, aerial lift, and material-handling fields as well as the Lift and Access editorial staff, 25 products in five categories were scored based on their innovation, influence, leadership, and benefits. These categories include aerial lifts; material handlers; cranes; OEM features/essential components for OEMs; and aftermarket support products & services. Ten products received Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards in their respective categories. A summary of the winners follows.
